Everything You Want to Know About ~The Sterling Veil~
I make jewelry out of sterling silver wire. I normally make my jewelry with 22 gauge wire or a mixture of 22 gauge and 20 gauge. However, I have decided to revert to using 20 or 21 gauge since it is thicker and more durable which may or may not increase the price of ~The Sterling Veil~ jewelry. 22 gauge will still be used for earrings, however.
Special requests for jewelry can be made. Depending on the availability or cost of the product, the price may or may not exceed the original cost of the item. However, the price estimate may also be lower than the typical cost-range. Special requests for a Necklace, Bracelet, Earrings/Ring set, of a particular design, can be made as well. And, if you like a particular design, but you want a different color bead or stone, feel free to request it. Bracelets/anklets can be altered into necklaces or visa-versa. (Please allow time for the shipping and handling of the jewelry supplies.)
Special requests for clasp changes or bead enlargements will cost extra. However, it shouldn't increase the cost more than three to five dollars, which is merely the cost of the product being ordered along with shipping & handling.
Most orders should be ready and shipped out within 24 hours. But, if the order is a special request the arriving date of the product could be anywhere from a week to 4 weeks. Depending on the availability of the requested item(s). I will make the purchaser aware of the time span via e-mail or phone.
NO refunds. All sales are final. The only alterations available will be for resizing purposes. (Which shouldn't be necessary. Bracelet or necklace sizes should be specified before order is shipped or sale is made.) All jewelry is made with Sterling Silver wire and made with semi precious and (sometimes)glass beads. Semi-Precious gemstones are as fragile as glass so they will break if dropped on hard surfaces or mishandled.
The loops of the wire are clamped closed, however, they are not welded, so if put under extreme pressure the wire will stretch or loosen. (Not suitable for children)
In the case of toe-rings and ear-wraps, sizes may vary, but the wire is pliable enough to be altered without the help of a professional jeweler. Simply bend wire carefully with a pair of toothless needle-nose pliers or gently alter the wire's position with your fingers.
Prices of the jewelry range from 5.00 to 35.00.
Merchandise: Toe Rings, Rings, Anklets, Bracelets, Earrings, Necklaces & Pendants
Semi-Precious Gems: Amethyst, rose quartz, amber, hemalyke, tigers eye, black jade, turquoise, blue topaz, citrine, green aventurine, fresh-water pearl and glass.
Stone Shapes: Spheres, stars, cubes, flat ovals, ovals, twisted ovals, cylinders, etc.
Sterling Silver Wire Shapes: Spirals, hand spirals, triangle spiral, bunny rabbit, etc.
Clasps: You can choose between a sterling silver Hook-n-Eye clasp for necklaces, bracelets and anklets(which may increase the price slightly) or the small, sterling silver, lobster claw clasp(Hook-n-Eye clasps may increase the price of the jewelry piece. In the case of the lobster claw clasp, the price will remain the same). Or...you can use a general, handmade wire-clasp made of 20 gauge sterling silver wire.
Earrings: You can also choose which type of backing you want for your earrings. Choose between elegant French wires or simple studs.
Jewelry Parties: Jewelry parties are available to family, friends or local residents only. Games, door prizes and gifts are part of the benefits for those who attend a jewelry party given by ~The Sterling Veil~. Those who book parties are given a 50% discount on ALL ready-made jewelry. Special orders are an exception. The party bookie must also host the party at his/her house along with handing out a minimum of 20 invitations.(Keep seating arrangements in mind) Invitations will be provided by ~The Sterling Veil~.
Hosting a jewelry party is a convenient way to stock up on gifts. ~The Sterling Veil~ jewelry can be given for Birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Anniversaries, etc.! You can give jewelry to a friend, just to show that you care for them. Or you can have something custom made for a loved one! All for an affordable price! Book your jewelry party now!
